Struggles between AT and IT? Difficulties acquiring, implementing, and training software are huge tasks for assistive technology consultants. This presentation will discuss or relate how the Blue Valley School District successfully merged the worlds of AT and IT. Together this AT/IT team will share how this unique approach positively impacts those difficult tasks that assistive technology consultants face on a daily basis. There can no longer be an "us versus them" atmosphere. This presentation will share ways to help break down barriers and create a "we" atmosphere. The ultimate outcome being improved student achievement.
